The UFC 300 card is almost upon us. This historic event will take place on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. A light heavyweight bout between champion Alex Pereira and former champion Jamahl Hill headlined the event. In the evening’s co-main event, UFC women’s strawweight titleholder Zhang Weili puts her belt on the line against No. 1-ranked 115-pounder Yan Xiaonan. Prior to that fight, BMF champion Justin Gaethje faced ex-UFC featherweight titleholder Max Holloway in a lightweight scrap. The card is stacked and could be one of the most successful events in UFC history.
Below we look at the current betting odds for the pay-per-view portion of the UFC 300 card, how those odds have changed, some of the most popular UFC 300 prop bets, and much more.
UFC 300 takes place on April 13 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card streams on ESPN+ pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+.
Main event: Alex Pereira vs. Jamahl Hill for Pereira’s UFC light heavyweight title
The early odds for the main event saw Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira as the -165 betting favorite against former champion Jamahl Hill, who initially checked in as a +130 betting underdog.
Those odds haven’t changed much, as Perera is currently listed at -135 and Hill at +110.
The majority of bets on this fight have been placed on the winner (53 percent), while the majority of money has been placed on Hill (58 percent).
Co-main event: Zhang Weili vs. Yan Xiaonan for Zhang’s UFC strawweight title
The strawweight champion started as a significant betting favorite over his No. 1 ranked opponent, coming in at -375 to Xiaonan’s +290. Those odds have seen a considerable amount of change since then. Weili is currently a -550 betting favorite over his opponent, who is currently listed at +380.
With the odds that this matchup has, bettors are seeing the value presented by Xiaonan as 74 percent of bets have come on the challenger and 76 percent of the money has also been placed on Xiaonan.
BMF Title Fight: Justin Gaethje vs. Max Holloway
Before the two “real” UFC titles were up for grabs on the UFC 300 PPV card, Justin Gaethje put his symbolic BMF title on the line against former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway in a 155-pound scrap.
Gaethje started this fight as a -250 betting favorite, with Holloway’s starting odds at +200. These possibilities have since diminished. Gaethje is currently at -165, while Holloway is getting +135.
Fifty-two percent of bets on this fight have been placed on Holloway, while 55 percent of the money has been placed on the BMF title challenger.
Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan
A lightweight bout between former champion Charles Oliveira and rising star Arman Zarukyan could determine the next challenger for UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.
The odds for this matchup haven’t improved much at all. Tsarukyan opened at -210, and he is currently listed at -200. Oliveira meanwhile opened at +175 and is now listed at +165.
As far as who the punters are watching in this one, 77 percent of the bets have been placed on Oliveira, while 51 percent of the money has been placed on the former champion.
bo nickel vs cody brundage
The opening fight on the UFC pay-per-view card is a middleweight matchup between Bo Nickels and Cody Brundage. Nickel opened as the biggest betting favorite on the card at -2500, but that number has dropped to -2000 as fight night approaches. Meanwhile, Brundage’s opening odds were +1050 and it is currently listed at +950.
With the unbalanced odds in this scrap, it is no surprise that 94 percent of bets have been placed on the underdog, representing an excellent value, while 84 percent of the money wagered has been placed on Brundage.
