In a new social media post, Noah Galvin, who played Dr. Asher Wolke, is reminiscing about his time shooting the show.
“I spent the last four years working away from my fiancée, dog, and family in Vancouver,” Galvin posted on Instagram. “It was hard but these guys really made it worth it. I love you @thegooddoctorabc thank you for everything!!’
Kayla Cromer, who joined the show for its final season, responded to Galvin’s post, saying, “I’m so glad I had the opportunity to meet you and work with you! Your (sic) amazing!”
“I love you so much,” Bria Simone said.
Christina Chang also replied to Galvin, saying, “Cheer you up.”
good doctor Season 7, Episode 5, “Who at Peace” shocked viewers with the death of Galvin’s Dr. Asher Wolke, who suffered an anti-Semitic attack that ended his life.
After Asher assists at a patient’s wedding, the rabbi is sent back home, where he encounters some thugs vandalizing the synagogue. Usher told them to leave and that he would have no problem with the first attacker saying, “What do you care?”
“I’m a Jew,” Asher said. In fact, a gay man, and I’m calling the police.”
After believing that everything was resolved and there would be no problems, the pair of thugs returned and hit Asher on the head, leaving him for dead.
next episode of good doctor Airs Tuesday, April 9 at 10 PM ET and is titled “MCE,” where “the team must deal with a mass casualty incident that forces them to put aside their emotions after a recent tragedy. Does.”
