Thrill Island will feature a ropes course/thrill ride that will allow guests to swing 154 feet above the ocean, as well as a FlowRider wave simulator and a mini golf course.
Those aboard the ship will be able to enjoy a number of exciting amenities, including eight neighborhoods and 40 or more different bar and dining options.
Icon of the Seas’ maiden voyage from PortMiami is scheduled for January 27. The first trip is sold out. Fares start at around $1,800.
The ship’s itineraries will offer year-round Eastern or Western Caribbean adventures such as the Perfect Day in St. Maarten, Mexico, St. Thomas and Royal Caribbean’s private island, CocoCay in the Bahamas.
Icon of the Seas, another ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet, Wonder of the Seas holds the title of “world’s largest cruise ship”, measuring 1,188 feet long and featuring 18 decks.
