The 2024 Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 10 at the Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles. Jimmy Kimmel returned as host for the fourth time, joined on stage by an all-star list of presenters.
Kimmel previously said that he returned to watch the show partly because he thought a popular film could be nominated, reasoning that it was easier for viewers to joke about what they had seen.
“I’m sitting in a movie theater watching barbie And thinking, ‘Okay, maybe I’ll do it again, because at least I have a point of reference with everyone else,'” he said.

The 2024 Oscars are the first awards to require films to meet two of four representation and inclusion standards to be eligible for the top prize of Best Picture.
