This Game 7 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets could be an all-timer. Not only is this the deciding game of an extremely competitive series between two incredibly talented teams, but the stories surrounding this matchup make it even more fascinating.
Nuggets are a machine. This is the sixth consecutive year that they have made the playoffs and are the defending champions. The duo of Jamal Murray and three-time MVP Nikola Jokic is unbeatable. As a franchise they are 4-3 in Game 7s, but this core group of players is 3-1. He has experience and talent.
But don’t look just yet, the Timberwolves are coming. They have made the playoffs for three consecutive years. Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns are coming into their own. The vibes are impeccable. He even makes Rudy Gobert likable!
That alone might not be enough to overcome the Nuggets, but the Timberwolves have one more thing going for them in Game 7: history. Sunday marks the 20th anniversary of Minnesota’s 83-80 Game 7 win over the Sacramento Kings in the second round, in which birthday boy Kevin Garnett scored 32 points with 21 rebounds, five blocks and four steals.
Will the Timberwolves player turn in a KG-esque performance that will lift them above the Nuggets? Or will the experience of Jokic and company end Minnesota’s run? Follow all the action from Game 7 below.

The Wolves won 98–90. There was no drama, and the ant didn’t play well either
And all. Minnesota would win Game 7 on the road. Very good.
With Rudy out, Karl has 5 fouls and if the champions want any chance of making it, they better go through MVP.
Minnie reached 10 with 2:40 left. Kids are fine.
It’s 85-82 Wolves with 4:30 left. Yowza.
Minnie will have to rely on Rudy in a smaller role. I know it’s impossible to think about but this is what Denver will leave. Kept hitting him every now and then.
As expected, a weird series gets even weirder in Game 7. 53-38 run at half time. Jamal Murray with 24, Ant 1 of 7 for 4 points. You can’t write a better script than this for Champions.

Karl Towns is literally saving this game from disaster. 13 points from Wolves’ 38. They are behind by 10.
