The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s drawing has reached an estimated $228 million after no one won the jackpot on Tuesday.
The winning numbers were drawn Friday night around 11 pm ET, and we have the results below.
If a lucky player wins the $228 million Mega Millions jackpot on Friday, he or she could win an estimated $102.5 million after taxes.
A few weeks ago, a player in New Jersey won the year’s first Mega Millions jackpot: a whopping $1.13 billion.

To purchase a ticket, you’ll need to go to your local convenience store, gas station or grocery store – and in some states, you can buy tickets online.
To play, you need to choose six numbers. The five numbers will be white balls from 1 to 70. The gold mega ball is a number between 1 and 25.

Players can add a “Megaplier” for $1, which can increase non-grand prize winnings by two, three, four or five times. The Megaplier is drawn before the Mega Millions numbers on Tuesdays and Fridays.
