They’re doing fine, fine, fine.
Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves were joined by their three children for a rare red-carpet appearance in Austin, Texas on Thursday.
The couple, married since 2012, were photographed with sons Levi, 15, and Livingston, 11, as well as daughter Vida, 14.
The family attended the Mac, Jack and McConaughey Gala – an event for McConaughey’s non-profit organization that he co-founded with football coach Mack Brown and singer Jack Ingram.
The 54-year-old Oscar-winning actor chose a navy suit for the occasion, which he wore over a partially buttoned crisp white shirt.
She completed her classic look with a pair of shiny brown shoes.
For her part, Alves, 41, wore a black satin gown with off-the-shoulder straps. The dress also featured a draped detail at the top.
She completed her look with pointed-toe black heels.
The couple’s daughter Vida wore a blush colored dress with floral embellishments. Meanwhile, both Levi and Livingston wore black suits with white sneakers.
Thursday night’s event included a red carpet photo session, followed by a cocktail reception and a sit-down dinner. There was also a live auction and a performance by country singer Luke Combs.
The family’s joint appearance marked the first time since 2019, when they all attended the Texas Medal of Arts Awards, where the “Dallas Buyers Club” actor was honored.
Last month, McConaughey and Alves opened up about their decision to move their family out of Malibu, California, and to Austin, Texas a decade ago.
“We were living a happy life in Malibu,” Alves told Southern Living. “We had a beautiful home that we built together and put a lot of love and care into. We were raising our children there. I was growing everything in the yard. “I had bees that made honey.”
Alves said a family emergency prompted her to travel to Austin, during which she noticed that her famous husband looked pale in Texas compared to the Golden State.
She said she noticed he had a “calm but confident, energetic look” on his face as he drove.
“You want to come here, right?” he asked her at the time, to which she replied, “Yes.”
