Drexel University is committed to supporting students who are currently enrolled at the University of the Arts or are just beginning their college experience as they consider the next step in their educational careers. The University stands with UArts students, their families, and the creative community.
“We understand how difficult this transition period will be for UArts students and their families,” said Drexel President John Fry. “Drexel leadership has been in close contact with UArts senior leadership to provide support to the UArts community, and especially to students who can no longer continue their studies at the institution. We have already reached out to current students, first-year students, and many high school counselors, and are committed to making enrollment at Drexel as seamless and welcoming as possible for these students. In addition, we are extending our 50 percent tuition discount program for community college partners to UArts undergraduate students wishing to attend Drexel.”
Drexel is developing a path that will help University of the Arts students continue their education as seamlessly as possible during this challenging time of transition and allow them to stay on track and complete their degrees in our supportive community as Drexel Dragons. The University’s dedicated admissions teams will provide individualized counseling sessions and contact with academic representatives. Drexel will fully guide students and families during this transition and ensure clarity through the admissions and financial aid process while minimizing any potential disruptions.
