It certainly seems like Alvarez wasn’t lying or exaggerating when he teased. The cast is led by Cailee Spaeny (Pacific Rim: Uprising ) as René Carradine. He is accompanied by Isabella Merced ()Transformers: The Last Knight ) as Colin, Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bone) as Tyler, David Jonsson (Industry) as Andy, Spike Fearon (Aftersun) as Bjorn, and newcomer Aileen Wu. Director Fede Alvarez co-wrote the screenplay with his longtime creative partner Rodo Sayagues, and Alien legend Ridley Scott is on board as producer.
“Alien: Romulus” will hit theaters on Aug. 16, 2024.
