Hello dear readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for June 18, 2024. Today is probably the worst day of the year thanks to the time zone difference between me and North America. Right now today’s big Nintendo Direct presentation is eight hours away for me, and by the time it goes live, I’ll be at home in my jammies. At some point after that, this article will be posted. Likely due to that Direct, there’s not much to talk about today. I have a link to the show here, as well as lists of the latest and expiring sales for the day. Let’s get started!

Watch today’s Nintendo Direct presentation
We could do that funny thing where I try to pretend I’ve already seen the Nintendo Direct. Maybe I could use some rumors to predict things, suggesting I already know about some RPG or adventure game that’s being ported to the platform. But that’s an old joke, and we both know I haven’t seen it. If you haven’t, you can watch it now! I’m sure there are some great games in it. We’ll definitely talk about them tomorrow. I mean, 40 minutes on all the games coming to the Switch in the second half of this year? There’s got to be some great stuff in it!
Select New Release
As I mentioned above, I’m writing this before the Nintendo Direct presentation. I’m pretty sure you’ll read this after that. Right now when I look at the new release schedule for today, it’s (extremely Doubtfully empty for a Tuesday. There will almost certainly be some Shadow drops after the Nintendo Direct, and I’ll keep an eye out for those tomorrow. Sadly, that’s all I can do. See you again tomorrow, hopefully with some new games.

That’s it for today, folks. We’ll be back tomorrow with the actual news from Nintendo Direct, as well as new releases and sales. I’m keeping my expectations in check given where we’re at in the Nintendo Switch’s lifespan. Hopefully the future Sean enjoyed what he saw. I guess I’ll know when I become him. I hope you all have a great Tuesday, and as always, thanks for reading!
