The stars of tvN’s “Queen of Tears” share their thoughts ahead of the drama’s upcoming finale!
Written by “Crash Landing on You,” “My Love from the Star,” and “Producer” writer Park Ji Yoon, “Queen of Tears” tells the miraculous, thrilling and humorous love story of a married couple who manages to survive Is. Stay together despite crisis and all obstacles.
With only one episode left of the hit drama, Kim Soo Hyun expressed his gratitude to the show’s viewers, saying, “Thank you for giving so much love to ‘Queen of Tears’. I was happy because of you.”
He added, “Please stay tuned to see how far Hyun Woo will go for Hae In in episode 16, and please stay tuned to us until the end.”
Kim Ji Won commented, “Since we spent a lot of time filming (the drama), I was looking forward to it, feeling both nervous and excited, and I’m sad to think that it’s already ending I enjoyed watching the drama as an audience, and thank you very much for liking and enjoying our drama.
She started teasing the audience by saying, “It’s not over until it’s over! I hope you stay with ‘Queen of Tears’ till the end.
Park Sung Hoon playfully brought up all the grief the audience has been through because of his villainous character, commenting, “I want to sincerely thank all the viewers who have laughed and cried with us so far. I feel like I contributed a lot to angering the audience throughout the drama (because of my character), so on one hand, I feel apologetic. But a role is only a role, so on behalf of Eun Sung I pray that you forgive him.
He added, “Please keep an eye on Yoon Sung as he approaches his climax.”
Kwak Dong Yeon became nostalgic when reminiscing about his time filming the drama, saying, “I think about the time I spent thinking about how to act as Soo Chul and the moments I spent on the filming set. Bringing the character to life with a lot of help will remain in my memory for a long time.”
The actor promised viewers, “In the final episode, you can be anxiously curious to see what will happen to Soo Chul and his family after going through so many hardships.”
Finally, Lee Joo Bin commented, “It seems like just yesterday that I was nervously waiting for the first episode, and suddenly, I’m already looking forward to the final episode. I will cherish the warm love and interest you have shown me in my heart for a long time.”
As for what viewers can expect from the finale, he teased, “Please stay tuned till the end to see how Da Hye comes to terms with the mistakes of the past and the vengeance that comes with it , as well as how she will recover from her situation.”
The final episode of “Queen of Tears” will air on April 28 at 9:10 pm KST.
