SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) – The San Diego State University men’s basketball team defeated Yale in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday. heading to the sweet 16 For the second consecutive season.
The fifth-seeded San Diego State Aztecs defeated the No. 13-seeded Yale Bulldogs, 85 to 57, on Sunday night in Spokane, Washington.
Following this win, SDSU is set to take on UConn in the Sweet 16 in Boston on Thursday at 4:39 p.m. The Huskies defeated fifth-seeded San Diego State 76–59 in last year’s national championship game.
