wide receiver calvin ridley and the Tennessee Titans have agreed to a four-year, $92 million contract, a person with knowledge of the terms told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
The person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal has not been finalized, said Ridley gets $50 million guaranteed.
He gives young Titans quarterback Will Lewis a much-needed playmaker to go with three-time All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins, who will turn 32 in June.
Ridley started all 17 games for the Jaguars last season – his first game after missing most of the last two years due to a broken foot, a mental health setback and a year-long gambling suspension. from nfl – and finished with 76 receptions for 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns.

Rudolph spent four seasons in Pittsburgh, going 8–4–1 in 13 starts. He stepped in after Kenny Pickett was injured and helped lead the Steelers to the playoffs after going 3-0 last season. Rudolph replaced the veteran Ryan TannehillHe was sidelined with an injury in October, leading to Lewis taking over as the starter.
Jacksonville must deal Atlanta’s third-round pick (No. 79 overall) Complicated trade for Ridley in November 2022, The Falcons made the Alabama receiver the 26th overall pick in the 2018 draft. Ridley is now 29 years old and has five NFL seasons to his name.
In his career, Ridley has 324 receptions for 4,358 yards and 36 touchdown catches. He averages 13.5 yards per catch.
“I think next year will definitely be a better year for me,” Ridley said after the season finale. “However, it was really important to get this year under control. I came out of this season healthy. I know I’m definitely a good player. I feel young. I can still run, I’ll tell you that.”
He certainly played well against the Titans last season. Ridley caught seven passes for 103 yards and two TDs in one 34-14 loss on November 19 at Jacksonville, and he had six receptions for 106 yards and a TD in one 28–20 loss in regular season finale at Nashville,
Joins Ridley Hopkins, who Signed with Tennessee Just before training camp last July. Hopkins did not catch his first touchdown pass until Lewis, the 33rd overall pick out of Kentucky last March, took over as the starter on October 29. Hopkins made three of three catches. Lewis’s four TD passes that day.
Hopkins finished the season with 1,057 yards on 75 catches. The Titans also have Traylon Burks, the 18th overall pick in 2022, as part of the trade that sent AJ Brown to Philadelphia. Burks has been limited to 22 games due to injuries. He has 49 catches for 665 yards and one touchdown.
