The WWE Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia featured men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches in addition to the “Grayson Waller Effect” featuring Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Elimination Chamber focused on Rhea Ripley’s return to her home continent as she defended her WWE Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax.
Last week’s broadcast of SmackDown achieved a viewership of 2.555 million, topping the sports and network ratings.

Becky Lynch won the Women’s WWE Elimination Chamber
Michael Cole kept saying that Liv Morgan referred to this match as the “E-Liv-ination” Chamber, but it sounded like the “Elimination” Chamber, so it sounded weird every time.
The crowd in the stadium was very loud, but it was an outdoor stadium, so the cheers on TV were not as loud as they were live.
Corey Graves called Naomi his “wife’s partner”.
After all the entrances and fanfare, the bell for the first match did not ring until the first 20 minutes of the show.
WWE’s new production team wasted no time in utilizing new camera angles, microphones and wide shots from inside the chamber.
The fans chanted “We want Tiffy” and “Tiffy time” at the start of the match. A good sign for newcomer Tiffany Stratton.
WWE showed the rankings at the top of each entrant’s pods. Tiffany Stratton was ranked 79th, Bianca was ranked 95th.
Stratton may have been the most overpowered woman in the chamber up to this point, but Naomi shined with an impressive split-legged leg drop.
Liv mocks Stratton by saying “Livi time” and the Ozzy crowd does the same No Like that.
Stratton and Naomi created an impressive tandem cartwheel sequence that stunned the crowd.
Tiffany Stratton scored the first pinfall on Naomi by vulture by pinfall.
Raquel Rodriguez (86) entered next, and delivered a monstrous performance. The fans booed as Rodriguez attacked the heel Stratton.
Rodriguez eliminated three women trying to pin him, and fans chanted “Bull-tee”.
A diving senton splash from Liv Morgan to Rodriguez was followed by a fan-approved Tiffany Stratton swanton bomb.
WWE would be wise to eliminate Tiffany Stratton last so this crowd can’t watch the match. Unfortunately, Stratton was the second woman pinned and fans once again chanted “BS”.
Belair pinned Rodriguez with a KOD, resulting in the Final 3 of Belair, Morgan, and Lynch. Belair was eliminated by Morgan, who was pinned by Becky Lynch after a manhandle slam.
Women’s WWE Elimination Chamber Grade: B-
Judgment Day def. New Catch Republic
In addition to Tiffany Stratton, Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne composed the new theme music.
Corey Graves said the “New Catch Republic” feels like somewhere his wife would order her clothes.
In a surprise update, R-Truth showed up to WWE Elimination Chamber in “Austria” instead of Australia.
Dominic Mysterio was eliminated from Perth and was the most individual player anywhere in this match.
Fans chanted “Dominic A Va-ker” amid the action in the ring.
The WWE Superstar with the second highest number of overs in this match was also not a part of the match as fans chanted “We Want Truth!” Raised slogans.
Tyler Bate finally got the fans into the actual match with a strong spot where he spun Priest around like a helicopter. It didn’t hurt that Mysterio was later eliminated from the match to a big pop. Fans soon joined the match with chants of “This is amazing”.
A spectacular finish with a double South of Heaven from the top rope followed by a Coup de Grace from Balor. By this time of the night, Cole’s voice was beginning to fade.
New Catch Republic vs Judgment Day Grade: B+
Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the Grayson Waller Effect
Grayson Waller gets a standing ovation after sparring with UFC heavyweight fighter Tai Tuivasa. He seemed a little excited when he started his promo.
Waller said Rhodes could thank the American education system for failing to complete his story.
Both Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins were in Australia. Roman Reigns and The Rock were No.
Rhodes asked if there were any Cody crybabies in the house tonight, and they went crazy for him.
Surprisingly, Cody Rhodes challenged The Rock to a one-on-one match, and Seth Rollins said that Rhodes would not fight this fight alone.
Grayson Waller Impact Grade: B-
Drew McIntyre won the Men’s WWE Elimination Chamber
Fans heavily criticized Drew McIntyre, even chanting “CM Punk!” Also raised slogans.
Kevin Owens (86) entered the chamber and immediately delivered a chokeslam as part of a Make-A-Wish program and to fulfill a promise he made to a young boy he met in Australia.
The fourth entrant was Bobby Lashley (89), his hand and the rest were injured. Lashley headed straight for McIntyre and was almost certain to be pinned by Drew. Fans chanted “Bobby Lashley!” Raised slogans. Owens came after Lashley.
The fans showed signs of fatigue, but came back to life when Randy Orton arrived in the fifth. Orton was selling his back throughout the match. Paul then entered the match after writing messages on the glass pod for several minutes using his finger and his breath.
Lashley hit a spectacular spear on Paul through the pod, giving Braun Breaker a tough fight. Fans chanted “Thank you Bobby!” Raised slogans. Of course, Lashley damaged his bad elbow, leading to two Claymore kicks and the pin.
As the referee turned to Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles suddenly entered the ring and eliminated LA Knight. McIntyre, always the hypocrite, quipped. It looks like Styles will face LA Knight and Owens will face Paul at WrestleMania.
Randy Orton eliminated Kevin Owens with an RKO, further damaging his back, and advanced to the Final 3 against McIntyre and Paul. The high point of this match came when Logan Paul performed a cross body dive over the pod on McIntyre. This move attracted “You still suck!” mantra.
Paul was eliminated via RKO at the very moment he was about to use a pair of brass knuckles. This created a McIntyre vs. Orton situation. Paul got his comeuppance with a Brass Knuckles shot on Orton, and McIntyre earned his elimination victory of the night to win the Chamber.
Several WrestleMania matches were held in this men’s chamber. Everyone left the chamber with a program. Knight-Styles, Paul-Orton-Owens and McIntyre-Rollins.
Men’s Elimination Chamber Grade: B-
Rhea Ripley def. nia jax
Rhea Ripley received a huge applause and looked overcome with emotion as she posed in the ring.
In one of the first failures of the night, Ripley and Jax botched a hurricanrana.
There was limited heat when Ripley was on the defensive, perhaps because fans didn’t want to see Rhea sell out so much, especially in Australia. However, they were electric for Riya’s offense.
In a truly meta moment, fans chanted “my hole” at Nia Jax.
Jax hit a Samoan Drop on the announce table which did not break, followed by a splash and an Annihilator on the table. Ripley was still out.
Ripley won the match with Riptide in a main event with a superplex.
