5 questions from Leroy Butler: How can the Packers beat the 49ers
Leroy Butler believes the advantage the Packers have gained is their ability to play like a team and not rely on one or two stars to carry them forward.
Simone Biles will likely compete for a gold medal at the Olympics in Paris this summer.
However, for now, the gymnastics icon is all about another gold. Green and gold, that is.
Biles is in full playoff mode as the Green Bay Packers continue their postseason run. Biles was in Dallas for the team’s huge 48-32 wild-card win over the Cowboys last week and now she’s in San Francisco for the Packers’ divisional round game against the 49ers on Saturday.
Biles is the wife of Packers safety Jonathan Owens, who is in his first year with the team.
She has been lending her public support to Owens and the Packers throughout the season and has been a regular at games since returning from the World Championships last fall.
Biles, who brought her dogs with her to San Francisco, took to social media on Saturday to show off her game day look as well as well wishes for her husband. The two got married last year after meeting in early 2020.
“Good luck today baby,” he wrote in an Instagram Story slide over a video of the two of them before the Packers’ win over the Cowboys last week. “Go 34.”
She added, “Let’s do this awesome thing! I’m so proud of you.”
The Packers-49ers game will tip off at 7:15 p.m. at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara.
When Biles arrives, expect her game-day look to be one to behold, just as she did last week in Dallas.
He shared his playoff fit on his Instagram account on Saturday evening. She wore a black tank top with green and gold Owens number 34 written on the front. Biles was also on the field before the game.
